MAKE HOMES AFFORDABLE BY AMENDING REGULATIONS

The Maryland government currently forces counties like Anne Arundel to comply with burdensome residential building standards related to insulation, windows, HVAC systems, electrical readiness requirements, and countless other costly mandates. These policies stem largely from Maryland’s adoption of the 2021 IECC Energy Code and a broader web of regulations that make the cost of housing in our district astronomically high.

As a young man who hopes to buy a home in the future without being buried under decades of debt, I understand the ever-present fear that homeownership may never be possible.

I will fight to reform unnecessary housing regulations, reduce bureaucratic obstacles to development, and restore the possibility of homeownership for Maryland citizens.

KEEP NATURAL ENERGY PLANTS OPEN

Maryland politicians continue pushing costly “green energy” mandates while residents are left paying ever-increasing utility bills. As state leaders continue shuttering natural gas and coal plants in the name of fighting climate change, they ignore the reality that our energy infrastructure is nowhere near prepared to replace these dependable power sources.

Solar, wind, and battery projects face serious delays connecting to the existing power grid because the infrastructure required to support these initiatives has not been properly developed. Meanwhile, effective and reliable energy plants are being retired at a pace that is both unnecessary and irresponsible.

Maryland families should not be forced to bear skyrocketing energy costs because politicians want to grasp unrealistic environmental dreams. I will stand firmly in opposition to the ongoing crusade to close our traditional energy plants, because Maryland citizens deserve affordable energy.

STOP PRIORITIZING ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS

Maryland politicians have made their priorities clear. Instead of focusing their full attention on the needs of Maryland citizens, they continue advancing policies that expand protections and benefits for illegal immigrants.

Over the past several years, lawmakers have pushed Maryland further toward sanctuary-state policies, making it safer for illegals in this state and for those who wish to migrate here. The influx of these illegals causes overcrowded public services, strained healthcare systems, and less working-class job opportunities for the Marylanders who are actually in need.

Public resources, taxpayer-funded services, and economic opportunities must prioritize heritage Marylanders, those who are citizens of this state, which my the Maryland government and its supporters simply do not support.

I will fight to repeal sanctuary policies that encourage illegal immigration into Maryland and support measures that strengthen enforcement, uphold the rule of law, and protect the interests of Maryland communities and families.

MORATORIUM ON DATA CENTER DEVELOPMENT

The sweeping force of the AI technology revolution is bringing forth a whole new challenge for our communities across the nation and state- the construction of data centers.

These massive data centers put a huge strain on existing power grids and deplete our water, causing our utility bills to skyrocket while producing little to no employment.

The Moore administration and the Democratic establishment in Maryland are being funded by AI data center interests, and are going to bat to ensure that companies can build them in our backyards. Since 2025, over a dozen pieces of legislation ranging from studying the impacts of data centers to issuing a statewide moratorium were shot down by the Democratic supermajority.

I vow to introduce and/or sponsor legislation that would enact a statewide moratorium on data center construction, prohibiting actors at the state and local level from approving proposals for new data centers.

END SOFT-ON-CRIME POLICIES

In 2026, Maryland politicians passed the Youth Charging Reform Act, which reduces the number of crimes which juveniles can be charged as adults for. A vast majority of our states attorneys have pointed out that juvenile crime in Maryland has become a major public safety issue, and that reducing charges committed by violent teenagers will only worsen the problem.

Instead of being charged in adult court for committing egregious crimes against innocent Marylanders, these criminals will be charged in juvenile court, meaning less accountability and ultimately, less safety. By giving these offenders a slap on the wrist, our leaders are incentivizing increased crime rates.

I will fight as hard as I can to dismantle this piece of legislation. Maryland citizens have enough to worry about; being in constant fear for our safety out in public should not be a concern, but our government has made this a problem. I believe in Law & Order. These people need to be locked up, in adult jails, if they decide to harm our citizens.

END HEDGE FUND CONTROL IN THE HOUSING MARKET

Owning a home, actually owning your property, is a pillar of the American Dream.

However, large private equity firms and hedge funds have, for nearly two decades, been meddling in the housing market in a way that has made America more of a renter’s society.

These hedge funds buy up tens of thousands of single family homes, outbidding prospective first-time homebuyers in a way that drives up the price, and then they rent these properties out.

Although federal action has been taken against this, more needs to be done.

I will propose legislation that financially disincentivizes large corporate entities and hedge funds from interfering in our housing market; the homes in this state belong to Maryland citizens who want to live here, work here, build a family here, and live the American Dream.
